Sonja's mother raises 320 chickens and sells the eggs so that her two girls can go to college!
Entry, dining and living room, all in one.
We had just arrived at Sonja's home in the countryside after an all night train ride and a 2 hour bus ride. Sonja, Lydia and Ron.
This is the inside kitchen. They cook outside. The running water is the hose in the kitchen with a container near the sink to collect water.
In Sonja's room are two little chairs that she and her sister still use to sit on and eat.

We miss you guys, fun to be able to catch up on our blog reading.. thanks for setting such a good example of integrating into the lives of the Chinese people. We will miss you next year as we continue our China Adventure! Dave and Linda..
