Getting ready to board our "Cruise ship" on the Yangtze River to go to Three Gorges Dam. The cruise was three days down the Yangtze River and through five beautiful gorges and numerous tributaries along the way.
Here we are at one of the gorges. We needed to go up the tributary in a smaller, wooden sampan. Ron is wearing typical rain gear.
This is the sampan. We traveled about thirty minutes in the boat in the wet and cold weather.
These two cute girls were our "fuwuyun", waitresses on the Riverboat.
The starting city was Chongqing. Ron met this charming old Chinese gentleman while I was shopping. Ron sat down and had a nice chat with him. The Chinaman spoke very good English. He had been to New York, San Francisco, and Orlando.
